posted 2 months agoWe are using a new strategy to handle YouTube's anti-ad blocking warning. When we detect YouTube's notification, we will automatically pause Adblock Plus so you can continue watching without disruption. The pause is temporary so if you leave YouTube and return later, it will remain unpaused until the warning is detected again. We believe YouTube will only attempt to show you the wall for a day or two and then we can go back to blocking ads as normal.

I list this ad blocker as "Not Recommended".
TL;DR
Get uBlock Origin and spare Yourself ads completely and the ad blocker's "ads" about getting a plan. - Rated 5 out of 5by AdriReg, 6 days ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18948543, 7 days agoThe real thing, and, has never let me down for 2 straight decades. There are a lot of wannabe fake ones that "look" like they are blocking stuff this one misses but that's not true, they are just "stealing" those stats by stepping in front and blocking them before it can by moving itself up in the page handler queue. Don't be tricked by fakes or moofed by reviews of novices/kiddos who can't configure their devices properly.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Oztaco, 9 days agoThe plugin works fine overall except it randomly opens a new tab every time it updates, begging for donations. I get it, stuff costs money to make. This is a really annoying way to ask for donations though and cheapens the experience. Other ad block plugins dont do this.
- Rated 4 out of 5by KevK, 10 days agoused this for a long old while, at the very least a decade, but now, not only with it being ineffective on youtube but also in general, there may be better alternatives out there like Ublock origin
- Rated 1 out of 5by Mirso, 11 days agoIm using this addon for long time already and it worked mostly, but since a while YT can access my FF addon settings and disables this addon automatically after YT is recognizing that Adblock Plus is installed and active, so it doesn't take effect anymore-> no block functionality anymore, biggest question is, how can YT access settings on FF and change them, and also, which other settings can be accessed from outside to FF?
