Starting with version 3.0, the plug-in menu has changed (it became like on Chrome), the plug-in degraded, started to slow down, the "visual" tool for setting the blocking is actually text, without the ability to enable additional settings (then what's the meaning of it?).
So download the version of "Adblock Plus 2.9.1" from the history of the plug-in, download the "Element Hiding Helper (for Adblock Plus by Felix Dahlke)" add-on to it. In the compartment with this addition, the older version is getting better than the modern one.
По этому скачивайте из истории плагина версию "Adblock Plus 2.9.1", к нему скачивайте дополнение "Element Hiding Helper (for Adblock Plus by Felix Dahlke)". В купе с этим дополнением, более старая версия становится лучше, чем современная. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13784821, 8 years ago

Thanks for your feedback! Can send us an example URL were you experience ads? "allow acceptable ads" is enabled by default, but this can disabled on the options page. If you are still seeing ads, please send us the URLs so we can take a look. We will run a few test on our end and get back to you with a resolution. You can reach us a support@adblockplus.org.
Thanks

ABP Support Team - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 5850000, 8 years agoWhy on earth is it blocking pages that I am opening myself??? If a tab or window gets open's from a user specifically clicking on it to open it, then it should not be blocking it!! Flippen stupid. Nakes this useless!!!

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13765559, 8 years agoABP was not responding to "disable for this site" instructions. It shows disabled but a weekly grocery ad that I want to see will not show up. I get a "fix your blocker or turn of private browsing" message. I tried disabling ABP totally. No change. I deleted ABP totally. Restarted Firefox. No change.
I have, to my knowledge, no other ad blocking enabled or installed.
This may work for other people and maybe for other stores, but not for me. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13747983, 8 years agoIt doesn't do what it is supposed to do. It turns off page content. Now I can't get the information I want.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13746685, 8 years agoI have use Adblock free for many years now (in the beginning it was all truly free but open for donations) and it get more and more tricky to use for every update especially the last cobble of years. The power to fight add's are going down hill or it get harder made it do what it did automaticity before.
And NOW !!!
Every webpage is now full of add's and it take forever to get rid of them all. Longer time than reading the page.
What good is it for then? Just asking.
Wish I haven't update the last 2 or 3 times.
A few month ago I had both Adblock and Adblock Plus and they "kill" the best part and the rest by only by a few "click". Now Adblock is gone.
No good for me any more.
Maybe it's sold to some "money-men" or what-ever. Anyway the spirit is gone - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13741770, 8 years ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Nico, 8 years agoI tried writing many reviews years ago. The Mozilla people where biased against me and delete my reviews. I did nothing wrong and just pointed out the facts. They let the developers delete my reviews multiple times.
I will try again without saying too much because they will delete me again. Just please do some research into the company behind this. They are into so much shady business when you go down that rabbit hole. This "Adblocker" actually is payed by advertisers. They let advertisers buy themselves onto a whitelist, years ago they claimed its all community decision. Later it came out they where already getting payed by Google big time. Then even later they came out public-ally admitting it because there was no coming back.
Look into what the CEO of this company was into because doing this. This plugin had a "link correction" "feature". And guess what it did, it added reflinks to your amazon links to make them money. They later removed that "feature" after getting called out for it.
They should not even be allowed on here, but instead Mozilla features this addon. Do yourself a favor and use uBlock Origin instead. It not only had a actually ethical guy who AFAIK not even wants donations, its actually technically far superior, is faster!, uses the very same filter lists, has better default lists enabled, better list of choices, better UI and most importantly does not have a white-list at all. A ad-blocker with a payed white-list is a oxymoron in its own but again please research them its so crazy I did not even scratch the surface. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13716825, 8 years ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13715404, 8 years agoAdblock Plus v3+ for Firefox is a complete failure. You removed the two options I used most:
1. Turn off Adblock everywhere
2. Turn off Adblock on this page only
There HAS to be a way to unblock a page temporarily without whitelisting.
Everybody hates version 3, the complete rewrite is a total fail. It used to be a technical tool that advanced users loved, not it's a dumbed-down phone app style piece of junk. You should have just made the necessary minimal changes to work with the new add-ons. Maybe came up with Adblock for Dummies completely separate from the real deal. I'm on Firefox ESR 52, and may just have to freeze in time so that I can stick with Adblock Plus 2.9 Firefox is going the wrong way, too. Nobody can leave well enough alone. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13708293, 8 years ago
