- Rated 1 out of 5by Mikko, 7 years agoThe new UI was too hard to figure out. Uninstalled and replaced with uMatrix.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13541122, 7 years agoВернулся на старую версию 2.9.1 (ссылка есть ранее в форуме https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/versions/) и отключил автоматическое обновление, т.к.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12534684, 7 years agoNew version really sucks. You removed all the good features and just added 'sharing' buttons to advertise your software. I will give uBlock a try.
- Rated 1 out of 5by zlionsfan, 7 years agoAll the bad features of the Chrome version, none of the good ones of the old Firefox version. Blocking elements rarely works, adding custom filters is a giant pain, there's no way to see blockable elements, etc. etc. I understand having to push out an unready version that's compatible with Mozilla Chrome (let's face it, that's what Mozilla is basically doing, taking away the features that made Firefox useful where Chrome wasn't), but this really isn't a match for previous functionality yet.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13538120, 7 years agoThis Add-on was good in the past now I can't even browse proper secured sites like WIKIA, Mozilla.org, Google, Gmail, Youtube, Reddit, etc, without disabling adblock. Basically this means that with adblock on you can't browse shit. I had to turn off adblock just to search up google.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13531269, 7 years agoNew version somehow missing to filter lot of ads with the same set of downloaded+custom filters. Seems like all rules added previously with Element Hiding Helper are ignored after upgrade... and no Element Hiding Helper here anymore. :(
- Rated 1 out of 5by JEmlay, 7 years agoOne star for the new garbage way of handling the custom filter lists. Now it's a major PITA to turn off a specific site and edit said site for when that site makes changes. Now it's just one gigantic list of custom entries.
- Rated 1 out of 5by WebMaster, 7 years agoFrom version 3 is really a SHAME:
- no more user friendly iinterface
- no more "disable/enable for all site" (also with middle-click)
- no more filter proper working!
- no more "open blockable elements" option
- etc
---

Thanks for your Feedback! Our developers are working on addressing user pain points as we speak. You can still disable Adblock Plus by clicking on the Firefox hamburger icon ( three horizontal lines in the upper right corner) >clicking on Add ons> click on Adblock plus> and choose disable from there. Also, The list of blocked and blockable ABP items are in developer tools.
How to get there:
Hit F12 and click on the "Adblock Plus" tab
or
Go to Menu > Developer Tools > Web Console and then click on "Adblock Plus" tab.
We are more than happy to further troubleshoot with you. Reach us at support@adblockplus.org. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12962480, 7 years agoTotally useless. Element blocking does not work. Either that or it's just not user friendly. Either way, I hate it.

But if you want the functionality of "gecko" based ABP, use Firefox ESR 52 w/c will still be updated till next year. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13520460, 7 years agoIt's awful and useless now that the interface was "upgraded." You no longer have control of how you want your webpages to look or what plays or pops up on your computer. I have no idea what they were thinking. But for now my advice would be to NOT install it. It's garbage.
PS: After years of happy use, I'm now uninstalling this POS.Developer response

ABP Support Team - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12979544, 7 years agoThey ruined the ui and functionality. The ui is so bad it just gets in your way.
And they even flag negative reviews that don't break any rules to maintain the 5 star rating! - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13336103, 7 years agohow can i add script?

- Rated 1 out of 5by ShatteredCrest, 7 years agoThe newest version of ABP has removed the CTRL-SHIFT-F3 accessibility, and replaced it with an inability to add new filters. Can't say that I'm happy about that. I'm now in the market for a replacement.

Now, blocking custom elements just highlights them in a pink box while still loading them. Unsure sure how that's considered useful, because it's not.
