- Rated 5 out of 5by Kevin Cetina, 8 years agoit works perfectly, i like it but i would like it to be added to the main extensions of the browsers like mozilla, chrome, opera, etc. because sometimes it requires a short time to search for it and.. the problem is that there are many extensions with the same name or color in their logo so people may confuse, maybe if you change the color of the adblocker may be you can get some differenciation from other extensions and let your loyal users find you faster and easier.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12974893, 8 years agoI got to say that it is nice to have an App that actually works and does it's job. I have been running AdBlocker for years. I have never had trouble with it and it works seamlessly with Firefox, another program I have been running for years. Both Firefox and AdBlocer I would never trade for them other web browsers. So, yes. I really like AdBlocer Ultimate and wish to say thank you for your time and programing.

- Rated 5 out of 5by tallship, 8 years agoBack when ad blockers first became available, there was one, then two, predominant products, but then one day I noticed that during an update I received a notice about "acceptable ads"....
What? Why am I using an ad blocker that says there are acceptable ads? And why do I have to go an extra step to disable those so-called acceptable ads? The reason I use an ad-blocker is to block advertising - I didn't ask for it, it is unwanted, and ads are therefore SPAM!
Well, One day I discovered Ad Blocker Ultimate, whose mission is it to block all possible advertising SPAM. And it does a great job! And they even ask the same question as to how an ad could be acceptable, and then they go on to answer that by explaining that other ad-blockers are for the most part sponsored by advertising networks - hm.....
One would surmise, right?
The only thing that has prevented me from contributing some measure of financial support is that I'm a bit uncomfortable with the anonymity of the developers.
But it does work better than any other addon for this purpose, is cross-platform compatible across all browsers that anyone uses anyway, and the code is open sourced as well as hosted at github.
Still, I'm going to give it five stars even though I have no idea who the developers are - and that does raise some questions. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13646149, 8 years agoI've been using this add-on for a year and haven't seen any add in the websites I regularly visit. Some websites do request for me to disable the Ad blocker which I can do if I so desire.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Sujo, 8 years agoI really like AdBlocker Ultimate, because it keeps those annoying ads from pestering me when I'm doing something on sites. I've found that it blocks all ads, which I really like, none can sneak through. when I'm on Yahoo, they ask me to turn it off or even allow them in AdBlocker, but if I wanted to allow ads, I wouldn't be using AdBlocker in the first place, so I just close that window whenever it pops onto the page. I love this app and would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone.
