by -, 5 years agoit's very good. It's modern. It's almost perfect.
not very comfy? here's why:
1) CtrlShitL doesnt open popup with close alternatives. It should DO something each time (when no match found). Who wants to press 2 kbd combinations?
2) popup is not kbd friendly - takes 3 TABs to get to the first item. Also Down key won't make it.
3) Wont hit Enter for me for a True Autofill.
4) Right click menu is way too complicated (so many levels, unfortunately some plugins think it's cool). I vote for zero sublevels. If it's complex i'd expect it to offer some data there (ordered by similarity).
5) Search..have some items visible. Click on details and go back, the search is gone. Search.. click to check another item. Go back, search is gone. Search. Enpass-like error
6) You have password for similar web, e.g. a different hostname on LAN. You have to search it. But you can't submit credentials to existing web - it will load a new tab with URL you don't want. Damn. You need to copy paste each item.
7) Credit card field identification in foreign languages is poor
8) Desktop app is pretty useless. It's a render with less functions and like other apps, won't fill anything in Windows. Makes me wonder why these apps exist. Oh wait, they either bring better management (not needed here) OR they bring global kbd shortcut (missing here) :)
9) Add/update password bar is very rare to see..

- Rated 1 out of 5by TRR, 3 days agoI've used this for years but recently (Oct 2025) having the extension enabled is now making typing in text fields in Firefox slow down noticeably, like it'll often show 2 or 3 letters behind what I'm typing. Disabling the extension fixes the performance problems but then I can't use Bitwarden :(
- Rated 1 out of 5by kanuay, 4 days agoBitwarden v2025.10.0 causes stuttering in some JavaScript animations on my site. I tried adjusting various settings, but nothing helped. The only way to fix the issue is to disable or remove this extension.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Yaestro, 6 days agoSlows down YouTube even if autofill is disabled. Slowing down browsers (even Chrome) for over a year. Will try an alternative.
- Rated 1 out of 5by frxrnk, 7 days agoThe add-on has massive performance issues and slows down pages a lot, especially if they have many dynamic elements, which is now very common. It often causes freezes and sluggish animations/scrolling.
I was hoping it would stop the constant scanning for form fields on page changes by disabling "Show autofill suggestions in form fields", so it only does its scan when autofill is requested with the shortcut or from extension panel, but it made no difference.
Only excluding the domains worked, but then why have the add-on at that point. Disabling it significantly improved general navigation.
I hope they address the add-ons performance concerns soon, as they have one of the better products out there.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 9999798, a month agoWas working great for years but now it doesn't want to auto-fill the ID and PW with almost all sites. I have a vault with about 100 sites. Very annoying to have to manually copy and paste the ID and PW. Tried various settings including turning off Firefox passwords features.
