bitwarden/clients/issues/10648 - Rated 1 out of 5by A M, a year agoThe addon used to be great, but for the past months, it hasn't worked as expected. No longer shows an icon to indicate a login exists for a website or allows for autofill. The only want to make it work is to uninstall and reinstall the addon each time I reload firefox.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16667335, a year agoLove the desktop version, but there is a major issue on Firefox Android (Galaxy Note20). Nearly every time after I unlock my vault (especially with the PIN, and with a website without passwords saved), I get stuck on the main Bitwarden Password Manager screen with the list of all passwords. Pressing the back button does NOTHING, except refresh that screen. Doesn't matter how many times I hit the back button or how fast. Even clicking on web links in the Bitwarden menus doesn't lead anywhere. The only way out is to stop Firefox entirely in the app settings, which of course just locks the vault again. The extension used to work great, but it's pretty much unusable now.
- Rated 1 out of 5by jae3956, a year agoinsanely f-ing slow, I do not know why the "unresponsive-script" bug is not fixed by now when it was a known bug since like April 2023. it's having problems with certain websites and just those websites but it is extremely annoying to turn the extension off for a certain website and turn it back on for other things.
- Rated 1 out of 5by NumerousHats, a year agoUsed to work just fine, but for a while it has been refusing to autofill usernames and passwords on Firefox. I've searched for solutions. I've tried all of the suggestions like syncing the vault and all that, but it still doesn't work. And now suddenly I can't log in at all with the Chrome version of the extension on a Chromebook (!!). I migrated from LastPass to Bitwarden, and now I'm ready to switch again.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Tess, a year agoAfter every update I have to decide if I disable it or enable it. Too many UI issues every time.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17788281, a year agoRight now the autofill doesn't work 50% of the time. Will change to 5 stars when this is fixed!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14403675, a year agoAfter the last update, biometric unlock no longer works in Firefox.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18611871, a year agoBiometric unlock no longer works on MacOS Firefox
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18611085, a year agoI used to like this add-on until the Auto-fill feature stopped working. Soooo frustrating! I've removed & added it, again and again, and it works (sometimes) until the next session, when it doesn't work again.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17609555, a year agoBitwarden is nice but this add-on is barely supported, the auto fill straight up doesn't work anymore
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18607017, a year agoWas great, then it just stopped autofilling pages making it significantly less useful
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17355592, 2 years agoThis addon is broken for Android mobile Firefox browser 130.0 (Build #2016041314).
When attempting to unlock the extension via master password, the user is unable to exit the extension menu. Attempting to have the extension automatically fill in the user and password boxes are always unresponsive. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13359271, 2 years agoAuto-fill is (still) broken now. This extension has consistently been slow, buggy, and an obvious afterthought. They are really just doing the bare minimum to pretend to support Firefox.
- Rated 1 out of 5by coucou-1364596093.77, 2 years agoNo longer fills in passwords and user names. Still able to paste and copy.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16623789, 2 years agoPassword auto-fill no longer works properly. Bitwarden pops up for every field, regardless of whether it's a password field or not. The Firefox extension has become really bad and causes more frustration than benefit. I hope this gets fixed soon!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17981722, 2 years agoWhile I've enjoyed the service, it is not remotely functional in Firefox Android. If you open the extension for ANY reason, you cannot exit unless you close the browser completely. It never auto fills. If lucky enough to get the prompt to unlock with PIN, clicking the prompt does nothing. You have to manually open the extension...which will then not auto fill and will not close. It's essentially useless for any practical purpose.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Kyle R, 2 years agoWorks fine most of the time. Occasionally, the vault does not lock after the timeout (set to timeout after 2 hours, but three times I've come back to my laptop after an hour and found it still unlocked) and the "Lock Now" button is unresponsive. Absolutely unacceptable problem in a security app.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13580663, 2 years agoI was very satisfied, I used on PC, Android and iOS. But the Firefox add-on on the PC (Windows 7/32 bit) stopped working. I uninstalled it and can no longer be installed. If it is not repaired soon, I will have to go to another password manager. PC is my main working tool, but I don't want to submit Microsoft's pressure and buy new PCs.
- Rated 1 out of 5by why-though, 2 years agoIt's rather annoying. When I want to create an entry, the credentials are often scattered and I need to jump around to gather them. But the moment the extension loses focus, it just closes and everything I entered is simply gone. It interferes with the built in password manager high-jacking the up-down navigation between entries, so you are forced to commit entirely to the extension.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16793127, 2 years agoThis extension logs me completely out every couple of days. Also I am being logged out after entering secret pin. The programmer is not able to implement basic functionality. I wouldn't trust him even with one password.
Developer response
posted 2 years agoHi. Can you check to make sure you are updated? An older version of the extension would have this behavior, but that was fixed a couple of weeks ago. - Rated 1 out of 5by indiana, 2 years ago07.2024: Immer mal wieder werden funktionen eingeschränkt und gefühlte Ewigkeiten nicht behoben.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18483441, 2 years ago
