by Mozifox_1978, a year agoThe block menu in YouTube became not reflect but it is still working overall.
Im confirming block by channel ID or video ID.
This working of the block is that when you try to access the video, a black screen appears, and when you try to access the channel, you will be redirected to YouTube Home.
I feel that the BlockTube of Firefox add-ons is more accurate, than Chromium browsers' extension of chrome web store.
Without this extension, we would look many awful/poor contents in YouTube.
Now Version 0.4.5, The block menu in YouTube became work again!

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14188159, a month agoGood idea, but somehow only implemented half-heartedly. The page where you can convert the channel name into the unique ID doesn't work at all! You just get a 400 error back! Also, the instructions and description are very half-hearted and minimal. How, for example, do you enter a channel name? With @ in front, or without? It would be a nice tool if it were better thought out.

Also, the "Block Channel" option isn't available when clicking the three-dot menu on comments. Clicking on the link of a blocked video still plays the video even when direct access blocking is on.

It is a MUST add-on for FF browsing YouTube.
