Under "About this extension" here on this page, you need to add if it's compatible with popular security/privacy addons (like uBlock, NoScript &Ghostery etc) and maybe mention general type of addon which might conflict(functionality/performance) with ClearURLs.Developer response

You're great, Kevin Röbert. - Rated 5 out of 5by Mattew, 6 years agoI am really happy that this extension now is on the Mozilla Recommended list! Great work!
- Rated 5 out of 5by aviva, 6 years agoThis is really good! When i click a link in my mail, it cleaned of the weird long links that im sure is a tracking link. This extension should really be among the recommended by mozilla.

You're good at guessing. Mozilla has a little surprise in the next weeks for ClearURLs ;) - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13492323, 6 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14111320, 6 years agoGreat pro-privacy plugin. One issue I found (couldn't find a place to report the bug) is that it breaks the forwarding for email links generated by the Twitter news aggregator nuzzel.com; a manual whitelist feature would be a great way to deal with edge cases like that.
*EDIT - above issue seems fixed; but whitelist feature would still be great.* - Rated 5 out of 5by Henrique Sant'Anna, 6 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15076628, 6 years agoIt is nice but i can't understand why it does not work with Twitter ref urls. Also the "cleaning tool" does not work with Twitter, there is a reason?
EDIT: now it works like a charme, thanks!Developer response
posted 6 years agoThanks for your positive feedback. I've added a rule for the twitter ref urls :) - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15109409, 6 years agoIts the best set and forget URL cleaner out of the top 5 or 6 or so I have tested! 130+ patterns and counting, giving it wide coverage, on top of that, though not based on global algorithms, its patterns offer SOME fail safe functionality similar to "Skip Redirect!". Only thing I would ask for is a setting to disable ad blocking. Not a huge issue but Adblocking dirties the log and stats with redundant information... most users using this extension will already use an adblocker. Best URL Cleaner, IMO!
[update: I have found this addon does block some domains on amazon for example that ublock does not... increasing user privacy] - Rated 5 out of 5by tmk333, 6 years ago
