- Rated 4 out of 5by Rohit Kakar, 7 years agoGreat Extension for websites in which the contrast settings are bad. I have been using Hi-Contrast with Chrome because I did not know about this extension. This needs much more publicity than what it is getting. I use it on sites to be able to see the lightly shaded checkboxes etc.
I would request the developer to add a "high contrast" choice which would make this absolutely wonderfulDeveloper response

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13599120, 7 years agoThis is legitimately the first review I've been compelled to make. Finally -- the perfect dark room extension. I'm a programmer, and I spend a lot of time in front of my screen late at night, so a good dark room app is essential. Thank you, dev

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefoss, 7 years agoIt is very good for this task. Of course some website requires a different method of coloring but it takes two clicks to set it forever. Thanks a lot.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Johan, 7 years agoGreat extension, you can do away with all those dark themes for Y-tube, Twitter and so on and it possible to set ALL your colors to YOUR taste! Great job, whomever made this!
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 12955352, 7 years agoPre firefox 57 version was better.
Wish list:
- no more flashes (somehow set the base color to a dark tone?)
- also style built-in pages (luckily still can be done manually via https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1177844) - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12583337, 7 years agoReally great on the eyes when you're browsing in the dark and don't want too look at youtube or facebooks really bright white backgrounds. Addon does all of this without inverting colors of images.

- Rated 4 out of 5by devanir, 7 years agoI have been using it for years, on desktop and mobile devices both. It's the best of its kind for Amoled displays. Overall, I am very satisfied with it.
Naturally, it's not working as smoothly as it used to with v.57. Aside from the known and unfixable issues mentioned already by the developer, I'd like to point out that it takes a while to "black out" almost all websites that I visit. It's not nearly as instantaneous as before, the performance feels more than a little laggy. Keep in mind that I'm referring exclusively to the Android version of FF..Developer response

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 5526256, 7 years agoI've spent a lot of time in the past trying to get plugins like this to work right. This one is *so* good. So simple, elegant, yet flexible. I love it. And -- even though Dark Reader (for Chrome) is hard to beat -- I honestly prefer this one to Dark Reader! (It feels lighter-weight, streamlined, and is very easy to use.) The default works for almost all of my use cases. All in all, *very* nice job!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 10926038, 7 years agoIt is the best of this kind. The default works on almost any website. For the very few that are not readable, it is very easy to change the method used to color the page.
