I really like Dark Reader but many times even when dark mode is turned off the page loads up in dark mode and switches to light mode which brings into question if dark mode is always running(and using up battery) even when it's turned off. Also it's annoying when that happens because the screen is dark for a second and then turns to the normal light theme vs. staying in the unaltered light theme through the entire loading process. But the add-on is very good otherwise.

Good and it make a useful and effective dark mode but sometimes the colors of webpages are incorrect

Unfortunately, it sometimes creates noticeable performance problems

Slows some things down like the initial load of gmail. Artifacts on some things. Ex. the banners at the top of testout.com after logging in.

Why doesn't Dark Reader work in my firefox? All the websites still have white background. I check the firefox settings. Dark reader is enabled.

Impressive addon, works pretty well and on a lot of different websites and webapps. The settings and configuration options in the popup are pretty hard to understand though, even after reading the documentation page it's not 100% clear for me.
