We understand your frustration! Sorry for that! The Ghostery tracker library updates automatically every 24h but the date does not change in the UI, except you update it manually. The support team communicated this in our email conversations.
We are funneling all our efforts towards an extensively reworked version of Ghostery, adapting to upcoming changes imposed upon browser extensions developers by major industry players.

While this is no excuse, we also have a substantial user interface update in the pipeline where the issue you mention will be addressed.

Ghostery Team- Rated 1 out of 5by Rochelle Shepherd, 2 years agoIt does not work at all. I keep experiencing pop up advertising, and game apps from Google Play Store every minute. Even on Netflix it is constant and extremely frustrating. I installed Firefox as well with Ghostery and it has not worked.

What we know at the moment is that sometimes Youtube shows the message "You're offline. Check your connection." Simply reloading the page helps fix this based on our research.
