by RoøT, a month agoNowadays finding a piece of 'software' without any update in years is in the realm of fantasy -roaming among unicorns-.
1. To our fellows users: The old extension still works. Why this and not the 'old', because reasons.
2. This extension and the old one play in a pretty danguerous zone. The scope of permission could be severely limited (currently it keeps an eye over all the tabs 'history' not limited to google.com, why? keep reading or forget about it). If you were here long enough, the old extension tried, without success and a rollback limiting it's scope ... embeed google frames, yt and... infamous googlemail.de where years back Google did not have gmail.de.
The inconsistencies in the user-agent made google sad, very sad and STUPID. To the extent that having a web, mail or whatever malformatted because is rendering parts for different user-agents it's .. bothersome.
Now left your WIFI, turn on DataPhone, end up with some path to IPv6 to some miss-cache and end up with a nice "Pets verify your login with another device that you have elsewhere and sucks to be you"
Said that, thanks to the Author, hope you do not need to touch this in years and everyone enjoy as much as the older one.
And.. to Mozilla: You have the interventions, Samsung webpage intervention will be able to vote in the next elections, and no, the samsung webpage do not work nowadays if you keep the intervention as 'Enigma 4-rolls'. Seriously Devs, you patched already at least two cosmetics issues fixing a rendering issue, the UIX team even know that those webpages are intervened? Prolly some new employee of that team was drawing Lions at 5 when it was deployed, but... PLEASE? Let's stop beging ashame of Firefox User-Agentics, it's BATTLE tested that is bulls**t.
