- Rated 5 out of 5by Magic_Pickle123, a year agoIt's truly a perfect add-on, simple and easy to use while still being extremely customizable. Cutting fandom out of my life has strictly improved my online browsing experience and I can't imagine going back now.

Giving it 5 stars because of the reply. @BreezeWiki: fix your ****
Old:
-1 Star for BreezeWiki still displaying the "try our affiliated extension" ad, when that is how I reached that page in the first place.Developer response
posted 2 years agoThanks for the review Jack! Glad it works exactly how you want.
Note that I don't run BreezeWiki, so I can't control what it displays. Indie Wiki Buddy does attach a header to inform BreezeWiki that the user has it installed, so hopefully it will be updated soon to hide that ad. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17123339, 2 years agoFantastic extension idea! When I used it for a couple fandom sites it was missing redirects but there's an option to send them alternative wikis in a google form so they can add it, probably needs user input help but this is a brilliant idea

Fandom is the most prominent gaming wiki builder but is barely optimized for use. Between webpages not taking up the full page so less information gets conveyed to the user, or the relentless autoplay videos that show when you click on a new page.
This addon fixes those issues by removing it outright. Pages take the full browser window, no autoplay videos, no ads on both sizes of the webpage. Additionally it removes fandom links from search engines like Google and Bing and instead, replaces them with a wiki replacement that you can choose from a list.
The addon is fairly customizable so you can suit it to your needs and disable features you might not want. it also features a redirect to send you to official community wiki pages instead of Fandom.
an absolute must-have if you frequent Fandom wiki pages! - Rated 5 out of 5by cloudrac3r, 2 years agoWell, well, well. Look who's back. It's Cave Johnson, and I've got something to say about those wikis. Listen up, folks, because this is important. You see, when life gives you lemons, you're supposed to make lemonade, right? But when life gives you a bad wiki, what are you supposed to do? Well, let me tell you, you don't have to settle for subpar information. No sir. You can take matters into your own hands and find a better wiki.
Those Fandom wikis are just not cutting it for me. They're cluttered with ads, they've got weird pop-ups, and the writing is just not up to snuff. But the independent wikis? Oh, boy. They're like a breath of fresh air. They're well-designed, informative, and they don't bombard you with ads. Plus, you're more likely to find some quality humor and Easter eggs in there that will make you laugh out loud.
And best of all, Indie Wiki Buddy? It keeps you on the right track the whole way through. So if you're like me, skip those Fandom sites and find yourself an independent one. It'll make life taste sweeter than a big ol' glass of lemonade. And Indie Wiki Buddy is like a whole lemon squeezer - no, it's a massive lemonade production factory! Install this right now, onto your computer, and I promise you will not regret it. Step boldly forward into the future of wikis! - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 16871700, 2 years ago
