by Firefox user 12916690, 6 years agoI used to have a good experience with this addon and its older pre-FF57 incarnation, but these days it paralyses Firefox as soon as I install or enable it. Does it conflict with other addons or features e.g Firefox Containers? Firefox Sync?
running on KDE Neon (=Ubuntu)
Answering the developer: yes, I have hundreds of tabs open (most are suspended). That's probably the issue then, thanks for the advice. I'll move my rating from 2 to 4 stars as the addon itself is great.

posted 6 years agoNo known conflicts. Do you have many tabs open? Try selecting "Process only active tabs" under General options.
Update: v0.9.11 includes performance improvements which should make for a better experience.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Wren, 3 days agoA super useful extension to break free of the default "pull up "x" site and doom scroll for hours" programing. Tons of features and settings, but very intuitive and easy to get started with. Leaving lots of room to tweak as you need. Thank you so much for putting this out there.

- Rated 5 out of 5by D G, 6 days agoAs I've gotten older, I've become a type of person who is the opposite of a "morning person". Right now I'm unemployed and I have a lot of people who still have jobs on Linkedin. When I wake up in the morning, I have a tendency to click into Linkedin and get a nasty dose of their smugness in my "feed". I've opted to block linkedin until after noon, when I'm more mentally focused and have thicker skin against that stuff. Honestly some of the things I see on Linkedin trigger my PTSD from a terrible job loss I recently had. The less time I spend on something like that, the better. I really like how it has the "override" function, where if I need to search for a few jobs or something like that, I can still unblock it for that temporarily.
Finally, I really like the ability to "write a message to yourself" that pops up when it blocks. I put something there that was inspiring and uplifting.
Thank you for making this addon. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18848777, 8 days ago
