LeechBlock has helped me to be so much more productive. From blocking YouTube to other sometimes time-wasting sites, I've found myself actually doing more instead of just planning to do more.
The interface is easy-to-use, and the GUI is simple but effective. If you're hesitating to try it out, really, please don't. It will help SO much.

I was looking for ways to block sites. I liked the sound of LeechBlock. I installed it, and set it up to immediately block 3 popular social media platforms which I often find myself going to. It worked and I found contentment when I absent-mindedly reached for my phone and attempted to visit one of the blocked social media websites. I went ahead and installed the extension on my mobile device too! Recommended.

Works like a charm. You can export settings to chrome/opera/edge.

If you are looking for blocker to save you from leech sites (social media, video platforms, porn, ...), this is the extension for you.

The author seems to really understand that our willpower is not infinite and this extension can make it really hard to access sites that leech on your attention.

One thing I really miss is some automatic syncing to some external storate, so you can sync your mobile Firefox and PC Firefox frictionlessly.
