- Rated 5 out of 5by Paulcrews3, 7 months agoFucking useful and simple enough for a computer illiterate. Blocked reddit and youtube and immediately felt a weight off my shoulders. No more doom scrolling and wasting my time watching stupid bullshit. Thanks James!
- Rated 5 out of 5by AMJC, 7 months agoBest program for keeping me on track. Love the options for how to manage my social media so that I can pick and choose how I structure my time. Keep up the good work and I am also making a donation.
- Rated 5 out of 5by goblin, 7 months agoI don't even use the straight-up blocking function that much, even just the delay function works like a charm to keep a mindful eye on surfing and social media habits. Simple yet customizable and effective, this has got to be one of the add-ons I most often recommend to others

- Rated 5 out of 5by petrichorboi, 8 months agoVery helpful as someone with ADHD! I like being able to allow different amounts of time for different sites/groups of sites.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Peter, 8 months agoTime block is not optional.
Screen says 'Enter the time periods within which to block these sites (optional)'.
But leaving it empty makes the plugin to skip everything in the list. So not optional at all.Developer response
posted 8 months agoIt is optional, because you can enter a time limit instead of time periods. If you don't enter either time periods or a time limit, then, of course, nothing will be blocked. You have to specify one or the other. Otherwise, how would the extension know when you want the sites blocked? - Rated 5 out of 5by Pepper, 8 months agoExcellent plugin for browser, but has become completely unusuable on mobile. Requires opening the extension and saving options again to get it to start blocking the current tab, which defeats the purpose.
edit: seems this is on Firefox's end, solution is possible by not using filters (I think)Developer response
posted 8 months agoYeah, unfortunately there are issues with Firefox for Android: https://github.com/proginosko/LeechBlockNG/issues/419
Hoping to see a fix before too long. - Rated 3 out of 5by Gentle, 8 months agoWe wrote about how this extension makes firefox unresponsive, though it kind of is our fault for having 20 000 tabs open.
The developer responded -immediately- with a fix which we really appreciate and were surprised by. They told us to go to enable a performance setting in the general tab, that only considers active tabs.
However, the fix didn't work. It made firefox a little more responsive, but in that we only had to wait one minute per interaction with the browser instead of three.Developer response
posted 8 months agoThe other thing you could try is increasing the value of the "Process tabs every __ second(s)" option. With 20,000 tabs open (!) there's going to have to be a trade-off somewhere. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16211741, 8 months ago
