- Rated 4 out of 5by Nijaz Muratović, 4 years agoperfect, just sometimes ignores shortcuts or cursor clicks, meaning not working 100% of the time, sometimes have to try multiple times or does not work at all, does not react
- Rated 5 out of 5by Maury, 5 years agoPlease, DON'T USE CTRL+Left and CTRL+Right as default shortcuts!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15319127, 5 years agowhat about making ctrl+left, ctrl+right optional???
it takes days to find out what the heck is going wrong with my firefox. (so sorry for swearing to firefox) - Rated 1 out of 5by Henry van Megen, 5 years agoYou made this plugin literally unusable with the latest update!
CTRL-left and CTRL-right are used for keyboard navigation of moving the cursor one word left or right. Can you PLEASE undo this horrible keyboard shortcut? I spent 45 minutes this morning figuring out which one of my plugins was causing this sudden behaviour.
Before creating new keybinds, please check if they're not already used. CTRL-< and CTRL-> do not appear to be used.. maybe that's a better option. Or make it so people can customize it on their own.
Many keyboard shortcuts are already taken for example:
CTRL-left = jump word to the left of the cursor
CTRL-shift-left = select word to the left of the cursor
ALT-left = go page back in history
CTRL-PgUp = switch to tab left of current tab
I miss using your plugin, I'll rate it back up to 5 stars once it's fixed again.
PS: Version numbers should not be dates.. if you change 1 letter in the plugin on januari first, this should not constitute a major version increase. Please see www.semver.org for more information. - Rated 5 out of 5by Ghis1964, 6 years agoAll I'm asking is an option to dark mode. Not black mode. Just #333333 would be dark enough, border as #111111, and NO white text but #d1d1d1 would be as white as I can read.
Please? ;)
(I had to re-install as temp-addon in order to have my style of "choose_page.css" applied) ;) (that's the best I could do because it keeps hiding whenever I click elsewhere.... btw, that's one thing we should be able to toggle in/out as we want so we do not have to re-click in the tab for it to re-show again, and again, and dumb re-clicked etc for what? It would be handy to have it remain on-top until we toggle it out. Here's my somewhat screen-shot/picture anyway https://imgur.com/a/R3DHj9U)
And here's the modified "choose_page.css"
body {
background-color: #333333;
}
.menu {
}
.menu-item {
display: inline-block;
text-align: center;
cursor: pointer;
padding: 7px;
color: #d1d1d1;
border: solid 1px #111111;
border-radius: 4px;
box-sizing: border-box;
margin: 0 2px;
line-height: 0;
background-color: #333333;
}
.menu-item:hover {
background-color: #222222;
border-color: #111111;
}
.menu-item:focus {
outline: thin dotted;
outline-offset: -2px;
}
edit,
Thank you for the new dark mode :) - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14076000, 6 years ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13844620, 7 years agoextension works 20% of the time. not a smart extension.
it doesn't allow for....
- numbers embedded before other numbers
- decimal, hexadecimal, octal or alphanumeric in/decrements
- bypassing dead URLs (codes 301, 302, 303, 403, 404, 410)
- keyboard invokes - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 12579575, 7 years agoHi...
I've used URL FLIPPER for a long time and loved its no-fuss excellence which I'd come to rely on.
So, I was really disappointed it hadn't been updated for FIREFOX QUANTUM
When I finally found NextPrev I thought all problems were solved.
However, it really is limited. Sometimes websites offer more than one numerical piece of info eg 123/456/7899
With URL FLIPPER I could select whichever batch of numbers in the above example and go forward or back one or two or three etc increments
With Next/Prev, however, I can only use the last eg '7899' which usually results in the same page being shown unless there is only one set of numbers in the URL!
So: the idea of NextPrev is good, but surely the developer must realise it needs to be as good if not better than URL FLIPPER to gain support and recommendations?
For the time being I'll use it, but if no improvement soon, then I may as well just manually adjust the numbers...
Hope this helps - particularly the developer...C'mon, I'm sure you can sort this! - Rated 3 out of 5by Nih, 7 years agoAs a person who mainly uses shortcuts on the keyboard while browsing, this add-on doesn't really do anything to the usual browsing experience..
Instead of clicking a "next" or "number" on the page, I need to click 2 times all the way up in my address bar.
Is it not possible to let the user chose keybinds to the paging functions?
I once had an add-on that let me do this and had "A" and "D" as prev and next.
ever since this FF update I find myself hitting both of those keys subconsciously, and feel handicapped.
Could not find a way to give a suggestions to you, so used the review section. - Rated 5 out of 5by secret_agentman, 7 years agoGreat add-on! Been looking for a WebExtension replacement the FastPrevNext add-on, and this works perfectly! I do wish there was an option for individual buttons in addition the the drop-down menu, but it still gets the job down. Thank you for making this.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13475523, 7 years agoExcelent. But I wish the buttons can be put directly on the toolbar, not hidden in a menu like that.
It requires 2 clicks every time.Developer response
posted 7 years agoI know but it's not possible with webextension. Only old unsupported firefox addons allow multiple buttons in toolbar. - Rated 5 out of 5by sannpeterson, 7 years ago
