    It's a new year and a new update! I hope you all had a great holiday season and are ready for a fresh new year. I'll kick it off with some fixes as I get back to picking up the pace. The next milestone still remains the complete rewrite of the extension with the new UI framework as version 2.0. As you can imagine this is quite a bit of work so don't think I'm dead if you don't see updates for a little while. I'm still here, just working on the big stuff!

    I'll still be picking up important bug fixes in the meantime, so don't hesitate to report any issues you encounter.

    That being said, Kick has recently rolled out a new update that allows you to share your sub anniversary in chat. As I'm currently unable to reproduce this, I'm looking for someone who can help me out with this.     I'm currently preparing for a big rewrite of the UI framework, which is a big part of the codebase, because I want to get rid of technical debt and keep the codebase more maintainable. There's currently a lot of legacy code due to decisions made during the rapid prototyping and version iterating of the early stages of NipahTV. This will take some time, but it will allow me to better support features like translating NipahTV to other languages and finally do a full replace of the chat, instead of the dirty injection method it's doing now (causing all kinds of unsolvable issues).

    But before that, enjoy the new features and fixes! We now have support for 7TV nametag paints and subscriber badges.
