CTRL+SHIFT+Z, which you have set to show and hide the download bar (a rather important function) is already the shortcut for Show/Hide Console in Firefox.

I like that it somewhat replicates the behavior of Chrome's downloads, and it works quite well. The one thing I don't like is that I have to manually clear the bar each time (or each day) by right clicking and selecting from the context menu. I wish it just happened automatically after a successful download and file opening, or after an hour, or at minimum with a keyboard shortcut. Not a huge deal, but an inconvenience nonetheless.

Shows a strange bug lately. I download a file named 4012035877_Rechnungsabschluss_2025.07.01.pdf and if I double-click the file in the firefox download bar, it tries to open the file as Rechnungsabschluss_2025.07.01.pdf_4012035877. If I open the download history from S3 the file opens correctly.
