- Rated 5 out of 5by Scryptarch, 4 years agoHonestly this add on makes the browser so much more user friendly, really improved the experience a lot.
hoping to see this become available in the new version of Firefox daylight soon - Rated 5 out of 5by Caliban, 4 years ago非常好的addon,请求适配最新版火狐。Very good addon, invoicing and distribution latest version firefox.

Me too.
Mozilla has disabled almost all add-ons except for a few on Firefox for Android. - Rated 5 out of 5by cajun, 4 years ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Nikhil, 5 years agoIts a really nice extension. There is one small issue I noticed. If I do Next Tab gesture in the last tab, it cycles to the first tab. But the same is not possible for Prev Tab gesture when on the first tab.
Developer response
posted 5 years agoThat bug did not reappear.
But just to be sure, I changed the logic a little in 2.22.2.
I'm sorry if it's not fixed. - Rated 5 out of 5by Simon Carter, 5 years agoIndispensable. I love being able to use gestures to switch and close tabs on mobile and hate using other browsers now!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Petr, 5 years agoPlease add duplicate current tab.
Edit: nice, this script works.
Edit2: unfortunately the add-on doesn't work on my Windows tablet.Developer response
posted 5 years agoSorry for my late reply.
You can use this script.
-------------------------------------------------
/**
* @name Duplicate current tab
*/
SimpleGesture.open(location.href);
-------------------------------------------------
(Webextentions can not duplicate the history.)
thx.
Edit2:
Sorry, I didn't get a notification of the edit, so I missed it.
I will investigate when I get a chance to get Windows.
Sorry... - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15739538, 5 years agoGreat add-on! Though U-R and U-L for next and previous tabs look more intuitive for me.

本来Android向けに作られているはずなのになんでやろうか…
Windows版Firefoxに強制インストールしてみたが、Windows版Firefoxでは問題なく動いている。Developer response

(Windows版では問題ないとのことですので可能性は低いけれど) - Rated 4 out of 5by hunsai, 5 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Breadmann, 5 years agoFantastic add on. Excellent work. I was wondering about a few additions. Is there any way to add in a function for pasting text directly into the URL bar? I was trying to see if I could do a custom gesture with JavaScript but I'm not very good with JS, sorry.
Edit 11/27 Sending my thanks for the speedy update. I have been using it once you first released it and it works very well. All the best,Developer response
posted 5 years agoSorry, version 2.21 could not read clipboard.
So, I fixed it at version 2.22,
and you can use this script to paste and go.
-----------------------------------------------------------
/**
* @name Paste and Go
*/
navigator.clipboard.readText().then(text => {
if (text.startsWith("http://") || text.startsWith("https://")) {
SimpleGesture.open(text);
} else {
SimpleGesture.open('https://www.google.com/search?q=' + encodeURIComponent(text));
}
});
-----------------------------------------------------------
Thank you for your review.
Fix 12/04
if (text.startsWith("^http://") || text.startsWith("^https://")) {
to
if (text.startsWith("http://") || text.startsWith("https://")) { - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12593937, 5 years agoHope to see this addon back on firefox android soon.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15314091, 5 years agoThis is a great AddOn for FF on Android - finally it's possible to use Firefox almost as fast as on desktop. Thank you so much!
Two suggestions though:
Can you implement the possibility to block gestures on certain pages in the future? I know I can enable/disable it manually. But I use e.g. https://www.qwant.com/maps/ in the browser quite often, and of course it would be best to disable SG automatically on such pages, where you e.g. push a map around.
Another question: I use 'new tab' gesture very often and it really bugs me that I afterwards have to click once more on top into the address bar to start typing or to even see the default suggestions of firefox. Would it be possible to automatically focus the address bar?
Thanks a lot!Developer response

Ok, I add blacklist in v2.19
(I will improve the input form.)
>Would it be possible to automatically focus the address bar?
Sorry, it is impossible.
Thank you for your review. - Rated 4 out of 5by Gabriel Schanuel, 5 years agoCouldn't get it to work on v68.1
Just as Grumbely said, the page just scrolls.
Where the reck am I supposed do do the gestures?
Edit: extension is blocked in *.mozilla.org
Works great on other sites - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 15259983, 5 years ago「タブを閉じる」に「D-R」を設定していますが反応が非常に悪く5回に1度ぐらいしか成功しません。

- Rated 1 out of 5by Grumbely, 5 years agoNot working as of 68.0.2. Also, there is no explanation anywhere of how to actually use the plugin. The gestures are only listed as strings of letters (such as “D-L-U”) representing cardinal directions (which is not explained, you need to have used similar plug-ins which do explain it) but no explanation of where or how to execute these gestures.

posted 5 years agoAny add-on of Firefox does not work on some special pages. (e.g. "about:...", "https://support.mozilla.org" and "https://addons.mozilla.org")
I added this to "About this extension".
I am sorry for taking up your time.
