by xiang, 2 years agoIt has just taken some time to become familiar with the software. One of the reasons for this was that there was a statement that confused me.
On the Always Enable tab, it says “In this profile proxy servers are always applied define smart rules and skip them. ”.
It would be more clear to say "In this type of profile, proxy will always be applied to the requests unless you define rules to bypass it."

As a Chinese user I cannot live without browser proxy extension. also this one have basically full support for all SwithyOmega features, I'm happy and thankful.

- Rated 1 out of 5by gde, 6 months agoDoesn't seem to work at all. I don't even see any of the toolbar icons. Not to mention any effect. I even tried disabling other add-ons and it didn't improve the situation in any way.

Суть в чем: при серьёзной обсуфикации пакетов заблокированные сайты открываются, но некоторые обычные сайты начинают отстреливать с различными ошибками SSL. В этом расширении удобно отлавливать отвалившиеся по таймауту сайты и добавлять их в исключение.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Roman Sv, 7 months agoЕсли функция "Использовать прокси для вкладки/источника" снова не сломается в очередной версии, то аддон станет хорошей альтернативой PAC скрипту. Поскольку не нужно добавлять в правила список всех связанных с сайтом доменов: достаточно, чтобы с правилом совпал домен в адресной строке браузера, и тогда все сетевые соединения на вкладке заруливаются в прокси автоматически.
