posted 8 years agoFF 45 has only very limited WebExtension support. Some necessary API which is required by Tampermonkey is faulty or even not there.
That's OK because the WebExtensions API is in an alpha state at this Firefox version, but this causes TM to require Firefox 46 to work. Sorry.

This alone already big star for me.
As relatively new comer in userscripts manager, instead rely on old big bricks it based on newer one. Future improvements surely expected. - Rated 3 out of 5by noname, 8 years agoi like TM, but TM does not support many script from userstyles.org
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12604003, 8 years agoAlmost as good as greasemonkey was when playing Kingdoms of Camelot from KABAM. If you want to use scripts try this.

- Rated 2 out of 5by rivage, 8 years agoEditing/deleting/doing anything with scripts completely hangs FF for a long time. Been using it for a year with Chrome but it's terrible on FF.

posted 9 years agoI've created a bug report for this: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1274649 - Rated 4 out of 5by nickf, 9 years agoLatest version is better. No more shrinking texts and the button is responsive and has a perfect size. Well done, I like it better than greasemonnkey.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Lestalia, 9 years agoWhen trying to load local scripts with @require, which works perfectly in Opera. Any idea on how to work that out in Firefox Nightly.
update: Will do. Thank you.Developer response
posted 9 years agoUnfortunately local file access is not implemented (yet), but you can vote for this issue:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1246236 - Rated 5 out of 5by HardKoreG, 9 years agoThe newest version shrinks the text on some websites, including this one. I disable Tampermonkey and the text goes back to normal. It also affect gmail and a couple other sites I've come across. Also, the text from the toolbar button menu is huge. Could you make it smaller?
Edit: The shrinking text and menu text is normal. Thanks. The menu items don't seem to fit the window. I have to scroll to the right to see the whole name of the script. Could you make the window large enough to fit horizontally? Vertical scrolling is fine. Not a big deal, just a minor nuisance. This is what it looks like: http://i.imgur.com/PwglEhk.pngDeveloper response
posted 9 years agoTampermonkey was updated today. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Is the button menu text sized in a normal way now?
Edit: The menu should be sized correctly once issue 1215025 [1] is fixed. At the moment a minimum size is set to make the menu usable for now, but it can't be too large to not overwrite the correct size at later FF releases.
[1] https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1215025 - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 12299836, 9 years agoThe Button is bugged, its like only 1 pixel somewhere in the middle does react when i click it. But besides that it works like a charm. Please fix this!!.. =)

posted 9 years agoShould be fixed by the latest update. However, there is still a bug that the menu doesn't size correctly that's why I'm setting a minimum size now.

Pardon.
https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2015/12/21/webextensions-in-firefox-45-2/ - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 5782396, 9 years ago(Revising this review since I now have a more recent version of Firefox.)
After using Tampermonkey on Chrome for a while now, I find this fork for Firefox to work exactly like its Chrome counterpart, which is a good thing since I was meaning to dump Greasemonkey for a while now.
One issue that I have is that the text is rather big, making it 80% of what it is right now would be nice.
