by Firefox user 12525123, 2 years agoThe title is "Translate Web Pages" implying that it would automatically translate web pages. That doesn't happen at all. This is useless. It's the same as using Google Translate in Firefox which also doesn't work properly. Do you think we really want to continually click to translate? How many hundreds or thousands of time is enough for you brain damaged developers? If it's in another language we want it translated. Do you think we learn a language overnight and tomorrow we may not need it translated? When you say "Always translate from ....." IT DOESN'T WORK.
Of course my Firefox install is updated automatically. Just checked it.
So please make this thing work properly or change your title to "Translate by clicking out button 5000 times a day".

- Rated 5 out of 5by Four Legged LYS, a month agoUse this one instead of To Google Translate which provides highly outdated/clunky translations. Plus no opening some kind of separate window or page is required, just a pop-up, yay, and with the function of text-to-speech.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Shogun, 2 months agoGoogle translate works well here but there are simpler extensions for that. Google's translations are average. I couldn't get Bing to work here. Yandex works but is worse than other options. Using DeepL just opens a new tab and pushes your text over to the new tab which I can do myself with copy paste. DeepL won't let you translate a whole webpage for free, only text snippets. DeepL is poor at names, idioms, titles, and short bits of text but really good at longer form texts.
This is a nice extension with good customization hindered by poor translation tools. For my purposes its better just to use something simpler. - Rated 5 out of 5by GHOZRAEL, 2 months ago
