by Firefox user 14342162, 7 years agoDude you just stole my heart with this addon. This is working perfectly as I wanted to. I want to add more User-Agents and OS and others for that I need your kind help. I have emailed you to the support email listed for this addon page.
*** I'm seeking for your attention dear admin of this addon sir ***
I need your kind help to add more User-Agents, OS, Versions etc.
Can you publish an Updated Version soon? Or else You can help me to add manually?
I'm really not aware of user-agents for different browsers and OS.
*** Waiting for your response ***

posted 7 years agoSorry for the late response, I didn't see your message earlier unfortunately. The list of shipped User-Agents was recently updated. I do not plan on extending the shipped User-Agent list, since maintaining it is quite a bit of work and don't want to add any obscure entries.
You can, however, add you own entries in the settings (Menu → Add-Ons → Extensions → User-Agent-Switcher → Preferences). In order to find the strings you need I'd suggest looking at http://useragentstring.com/pages/useragentstring.php which has a very big list of those (they are not always up-to-date however).
Sincerely, Alexander

- Rated 3 out of 5by Nocturne, 2 months agodoesnt keep itself isolated using "only for this site" pref. Apparently it enables selected UA for *all* sites, and for ones you didn't want you have to opt-out... Not best UX

Instantly crashes Firefox mobile. - Rated 3 out of 5by Synetech, 2 months agoThis used to be the most functional useragent-switcher (even if the UI/UX was left wanting), but even this doesn't seem to work anymore. 😕
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14946084, 3 months agoAlthough this extension doesn't solve my issue completely (hating how Facebook looks and works), I am able to easily convince FB that my laptop is a mobile device which makes it more tolerable.

- Rated 5 out of 5by WhoAboutYT, 4 months agoI love it, I use the user-agent switcher because sites like Roblox believe firefox is "suspicious" and will serve you 10 Captchas if you are on Firefox
- Rated 1 out of 5by Yeko, 4 months agoDoes not work at all. Sites still see my browser's original version string.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Thomas, 5 months agoL'idée est bonne mais le gros défaut est que les captchas ne passent pas car le ua dans les iframes n'est pas modifié. Dommage.
