by Firefox user 12824938, 5 years agoExcellent solution to deal with seriously buggy/bloated Yahoo email "classic mail" webpage (recent forced "upgrade" from yahoo) and also google's forced removal of lightweight sending text messages from browser (replacement is bloated, extremely slow). IN BOTH CASES - set user-agent to android/firefox browser for *.yahoo.com or voice.google.com as appropriate, and now I get a usable, lightweight presentation without yahoo's bugs/bloat and google's bloat of their desktop browser presentations. Also user-agent changer adds no perceptible load to my extremely low-resource computer, excellent!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Lily, 2 months agoFirefox on mobile doesn't have a feature to permanently keep "Desktop site" on, sometimes when the website is unloaded from memory and reloaded the website goes back to mobile view which can be frustrating. This extension is pretty much a fix to Firefox's lack of such feature.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 17011104, 3 months agoWorks great to fix YouTube illegally slowing/breaking functionality on browsers other than Chrome. However, it completely breaks functionality in Google Docs, making it impossible to type in a document while the add-on is activated. As someone who does a lot of work in docs, this is a really significant issue, so a fix would be appreciated!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Tony, 4 months agoGreat add-on. You can apply user agent switches per domain. It worked at first try on YouTube. The icon colour will change accordingly whether there is a switch applied per domain or general. Way clearer than 'User-Agent Switcher and Manager' by Ray.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Korwin, 5 months agoIt works in Mozilla Firefox 129.0b9 x64, but it is sad that it is impossible to directly edit the list of domains and the User-Agents assigned to them.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Best-HeyGman, 5 months agoUser-Agent Switcher is just great and exactly what I was looking for.
It does exactly what the name suggests, it also works on Firefox for Android and it is Free Software (GPLv3). Also, I appreciate the extensive description. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14379205, 5 months ago
