Then on the other hand. Strange hickups after automatic updates.
Right now version 1.14.8 stopped working with Firefox 56.0b8.
Deinstalling, installing. Nothing helps. The icon disapears from shortcuts bar and no settings are available. No adblocking at all.
Had to go back to version 1.13.8 (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/downloads/file/685614/ublock_origin-1.13.8-an+fx+sm+tb.xpi)

Any idea what might be the problem? How to solve this?

Blocks all ads effectively and does not engage in any blackmailing-like scheme in contrast to AdBlock Plus.

This last version have some problem with Firefox 52 ESR (32bit), all the setting was erased... but i have imported everything with my uBlock backup. Unfortunately the Privacy options rest in "gray" and not selectable.

Als ich durch das letzte Firefoxupdate gezwungen war übergangsweise einen anderen Adblocker zu benutzen wurde mir erst wieder klar, was für ein perfekter Adblocker uBlock Origin doch ist.
Deshalb sah ich mich gezwungen dafür auch mal eine Bewertung zu hinterlassen.

I'm using firefox 44.0.2 because it's the only one that complies
with the functionality of all my addons. nevertheless, with ubo,
when i open help and troubleshooting information,
firefox crashes with ubo enabled.

Do you have a version to advise me that would avoid it ?

Version 1.14.4 is much slower than the old versions. Slowly launches websites. It is not usable for the time being.

Perfetto finché non sono finita su google news. Ignorando l"avviso di togliere il blocker improvvisamente uBlock risultava disattivato e rimaneva tale anche su altri siti anche dopo reinstallazione. Prima solo su un dispositivo poi anche su altri collegati da sync . Costretta a malincuore a sostituirlo

I greatly value ability to selectively block web fonts with NoScript (AFAIK, uMatrix has no option to specifically block only webfonts on all sites by default). Unfortunately, after installing uBlock 1.14.4, it's fonts (image fonts in control popup) were blocked by NoScript… This didn't happen with older versions. I had to revert to 1.13.8 for now.

Aside from that, great job!

A nice lightweight ad blocker.
