    Uh, this is blatantly another Honey type scam.

    All these "we'll find you the best promo code!" extensions - with the possible exception of one open source one I can't remember the name of - work the same way, by putting their own affiliate tracker in your URL, and replacing the affiliate tracker of any youtuber's referral link you may click, and redirecting referral money to the shitty extension and right out of the hands of the youtubers actually providing the referral/who you may be actually trying to support by clicking on their referral link. And also potentially by deliberately collaborating with brands to give you worse promo codes than you could have found otherwise.

    Someone/any company who's doing something this immoral can't be trusted to make an app that will behave well otherwise, either.

    I don't care how good the youtube features may or may not be. Don't afflict this crap on yourself and your favorite artists.

    Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns. I sincerely regret that your experience has led to the perception of misleading information.

    The extension was originally developed as a proof-of-concept (POC) project to explore the feasibility and mechanics of monetizing through browser extensions. I believe the core functionality represents a substantial amount of work and provides genuine utility.

    You are correct that the integrated shop feature is currently non-operational and has been effectively defunct for approximately eight months. This functionality was deactivated as part of the initial testing phase.

    Unfortunately, my current academic commitments, specifically my final year of high school studies, have placed significant demands on my time, preventing me from formally updating and removing the legacy components.

    My intention was to identify a sustainable method to support the ongoing development of the tool, as relying solely on voluntary donations has proven ineffective.

    I am committed to fully rectifying this issue. My immediate plan is to allocate time as soon as my academic schedule allows to completely remove all non-functional, legacy elements and ensure the extension's transparency.
