Zekra (Firefox) — Privacy Policy

The extension has no ads, no accounts and sells no data. Your settings, to-dos, notes, shortcuts and listening progress are stored only in your browser (storage.local). If you turn on Sync, a copy goes to your own Firefox account's sync storage, never to our servers. The Firefox version sends us no statistics.

The extension contacts these services directly, only for the feature you use:
- Open-Meteo: the coordinates of the place you chose, for the weather and its time zone.
- OpenStreetMap Nominatim: the address you type in the address search, only when you search.
- Google's icon service (t1.gstatic.com): only the site name of your shortcuts (e.g. youtube.com), to show its icon.
- Google search suggestions: what you type in the search box, only if you turn suggestions on.
- The search engine you pick: your search, when you search.
- quran.com (mushaf fonts), mp3quran.net, everyayah.com and radio stations (audio), Wikimedia Commons (background photos), zekra.site (the title of the surah on air).

Bookmarks and history are shown only inside the extension and never sent anywhere. Optional permissions (top sites, bookmarks, history, location, search suggestions) are asked only when you use their feature. Removing the extension deletes its data from the browser.
