About this extension
Quick Sites keeps 36 pages one keystroke away.

Save — press m then a slot key (0-9 or a-z) and the page you are on goes into that slot. Example: with google.com open, m g stores it in slot g.

Open — g o + key replaces the current tab, g t + key opens a new tab right beside it, g w + key opens a new window.

Look — g l shows the whole slot list on the page. In the list a lower-case key opens that slot here, an upper-case key (Shift) opens it in a new tab, and Alt+key opens it in a new window. Clicking works the same way: click, Shift+click, Alt+click.

What else it does:
  • 36 slots: 0-9 and a-z. Upper-case input is folded to lower case, and a half-typed sequence is forgotten after 900 ms (200-5000 ms in the settings).
  • A small toast confirms every save and open and shows which key is expected next; Esc cancels a half-typed sequence.
  • Typing is never disturbed: the shortcuts are ignored while the caret is in an input, textarea, select or contenteditable element.
  • Per-site off switch: list the hosts where m or g is already a page shortcut (YouTube, for example) and Quick Sites stays completely inactive there.
  • Works from any tab: Alt+Shift+L (Ctrl+Shift+L on macOS) opens the slot list, including on Firefox's new tab page, where page shortcuts cannot run at all. Pick a slot there and press "Current tab" to open it in the blank tab.
  • Toolbar popup with all 36 slots, opening and clearing them one by one.
  • The list can be exported to a plain quick-sites.json file and imported again (merge or replace), so it can be moved between profiles or edited by hand.
  • The slot list panel, the popup and the settings page follow your system light/dark appearance.

Privacy: everything stays in your browser. No account, no analytics, no network requests — the only file written is the quick-sites.json you ask for.

Requires Firefox 140 or newer.
