ACM Banner Redesign by Omar

Restyles Qatar University’s myBanner student portal (mybanner.qu.edu.qa) in place, with a clean, modern layout in QU or ACM colours, light or dark. Same server, same pages, same data: only the presentation changes. It has no network access and collects no data.

What it changes

One consistent layout on every page, with the same edges and spacing from header to footer, at any screen width
Menus become a card grid with icons, a breadcrumb, and a search box that no longer floats over the content
Leaf pages get cleaner tables with sticky headers, status banners and form cards
English and Arabic labels each get their own font and text direction
The Academic Transcript gets a sticky “on this page” rail, per-term headers and a proper print layout
Error and empty pages get a clear message and a way back
Visible keyboard focus, better colour contrast, and a responsive layout the portal never had

Using it
Click the toolbar icon to switch the theme (QU or ACM) and the appearance (auto, light or dark), turn animations on or off, or turn the extension off entirely. Turning it off hands the page straight back to Banner, untouched.

Privacy

Runs only on mybanner.qu.edu.qa and nowhere else
Makes no network requests: every font and icon is bundled
Never reads, fills or submits your username or password
Stores only your five settings, in the browser’s own storage. Your ID, grades and balances are styled like any other text and never logged, stored or sent anywhere.
