by bodwyn, 7 years agoI tried telly Adaware directly via their feedback page (https://www.adaware.com/give-feedback), but when I hit submit, it says "404 Not Found - nginx".
So, here for all to see is my feedback - you asked for it!
With no warning or explanation, my New Tab was now a picture of a lake and set to use bing.
WTF! Someone has messed with my stuff! Was it bing?
I figured out it AdAware and found nothing in its settings.
I finally found out AdAware is actually 3 extensions, and I disabled safe search, as it doesn't seem to have settings to tweak how it messes with your expected functionality.
Note to the programmers. If someone is nice enough to let you into their house, don't start moving things, changing things, especially with little to no indication of what, why and by whom!
So rude!
I know you think it's obvious functionality, but my FireFox didn't used to work like this.
Either ask first or explain, don't just revamp my kitchen and think I'll be down with that as beneficial as you think it might be.
