The program works well, I cannot complain with the blocking results the program provides.

If there is one issue about this new version for Firefox quantum Adblock no longer allows one to *see* all of the ads that are being blocked. In previous versions one simply had to click on the icon in the status bar to open the properties of the webpage and then one can edit all that they want to

This new version will not do that. One *sees* that there are so many items blocked (small numeral next to the icon) but one doesn't know what they are at all. If one clicks on the icon a drop down menu appears to show you that the page is being processed but you can't go into details to *see* what's being blocked,

bring back the older ability to edit.

just updated last night...I'm not happy. Yes it blocks most of the ads, yes it only shows the "acceptable ads" but it wont let me adjust my settings at all. I can't even set the language.

Also why can I not place the adblock icon on my toolbar like I could the old version? I preferred the ease of access I had that way.

And I'd prefer to block all video ads completely instead of just auto-muting them. Actually, if I'm 100% honest I prefer to block ALL ads because most of the time they freeze up my computer. Yeah that's right, I block ads because I have a crap computer that CAN'T HANDLE ADS WITHOUT FREEZING!!!

I have been using addblock plus for a while now in different computers and i love it.

A good adblocker I have used for years
but... now i get popups from adblock ffs

for somewhat pro or anyone with some knowledge of web codes: ABP version 2.9.1 + Element Hiding Helper version 1.4
Not only 98% of ads will be block, but other areas, bloated boxes and other trending bullcraps can kiss me ass!

don't know if the ABP v2.9.1 & EHH v1.4 would work on Firefox that is beyond version 52.0.2 though.

Works well, just disable "acceptable ads" and add a bunch of custom lists. Too bad it doesn't let you hide elements on facebook.
