Add-ons Hub by Elsherif

Add-ons Hub is your toolkit for moving your Firefox add-ons around. Export a list of your installed add-ons and quickly restore them on another Gecko-based browser, such as Firefox, Zen, LibreWolf, or Waterfox, or in another Firefox profile.

Add-ons Hub includes three tools: Add-ons Exporter, Add-ons Importer, and Settings.

How it works

1. Click the toolbar icon and choose "Export Add-ons." The extension opens a searchable checklist of your installed add-ons, organized into Enabled and Disabled sections.
2. Select the add-ons you want to export, then click "Export Selected." The extension creates a report in the formats you chose (HTML, JSON, CSV or TXT), with direct links to their Mozilla Add-ons pages whenever available. If you choose several formats, they are saved together in one .zip file.
3. On your other browser or Firefox profile, install Add-ons Hub, choose "Import Add-ons," and select the exported file. The importer reads HTML, JSON, CSV, TXT and .zip files, and several files at once.
4. The extension shows a searchable checklist of the add-ons in the export, organized into Already Installed and Not Installed Yet sections.
5. Select the add-ons you want to restore, then click "Open Selected" to open their Mozilla Add-ons pages in new tabs.
6. Click "Add to Firefox" for the add-ons you want to reinstall.

Why it works this way

Firefox does not allow extensions to install other extensions automatically. Instead, Add-ons Hub streamlines the reinstall process by opening the add-on pages for you, making it quick and convenient to restore your setup on another browser or Firefox profile.

Privacy

This extension does not collect or transmit any personal data. Your settings are stored locally in your browser, and the only website it contacts is addons.mozilla.org, to look up add-on pages.
