About this theme
A reviewer said the Aero Black theme didn't tile very well, so I decided to fix it.
In theory this supports up to 8K monitors, but I'm not sure if bigger screens will use 300px of the theme vertically. Hopefully not...
No, you cannot create a "transparent" theme like Windows 7, I tried. It also goes without saying that this theme won't really look good on Windows 7 / Vista.
This theme was made possible by these wonderful people:
skeleton11223 of classicshell.net forums for the taskbar Aero rip
Rick Brewster and co. for GetPaint.NET for a free software that allows easy image editing for everyone (even if they don't have a polygonal lasso...)
Ben Hollis for PNGGauntlet, which uses PNGOut (Ken Silverman), DeflOpt, and OptiPNG (Cosmin Truta and co.) to reduce the final image from 700+ kb to merely 97.6 kb!
Oleg and co. for R*load*d7 and my wonderful friend Cuurian for introducing me to it!
Creators of Firefox and Firefox Color! For obvious reasons.
P/S: Want a specific color to go with this? Unzip the extension to get the .png and just use it in Firefox Color as you like.
Be sure to leave your feedback if it looks wrong, and thanks for using it!
