AI chatbots are useful, but everything you paste into them leaves your computer. AI Shield lets you keep using them without handing over your personal data or secrets.

When you paste text into a supported AI chat, AI Shield finds sensitive values and swaps them for harmless placeholders before the AI sees them. When you copy the AI's reply, the placeholders turn back into your original values. You get a useful answer, and the chatbot never sees the real data.

Need more? Add your own filters for client names, project codenames, internal IDs or anything else, and switch each filter on or off.

WORKS WITH
AI Shield runs only on the major AI chat websites. It doesn't touch any other site you visit.

SIDE PANEL
Click the toolbar icon to open the side panel. It shows your current prompt with the original values restored, lets you turn auto-redaction on or off, and lets you manage your filters.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
AI Shield makes no network requests and has no analytics or tracking. Your original values stay in your browser and are deleted when you uninstall the extension.
