AdaptlyPost browser extension privacy policy

WHAT THE EXTENSION SENDS, AND WHERE

The extension talks to two hosts and no others.

post.adaptlypost.com, our own API. It receives your API token on every request,
the text and images of the posts you compose, and the identifiers of the social
accounts you chose to post to.

Your Cloudflare R2 storage endpoint. When you attach an image, our API returns a
short-lived pre-signed upload URL and the extension uploads the image bytes
directly to it. Cloudflare is our storage provider and processes the file on our
behalf.

Nothing is sent to any analytics, advertising or third-party service. The
extension contains no trackers.

WHAT IS STORED ON YOUR DEVICE

Your API token, your unsent draft, and which connected accounts you last
selected are kept in local browser storage on your own machine. They are never
transmitted anywhere except to the AdaptlyPost API as described above. Removing
the extension deletes them.

PAGE CONTENT

The extension has no content scripts and reads no page automatically. It reads
the page you are on only at the moment you choose one of its three right-click
actions, and only to capture what that action is for: the page title and
OpenGraph image, the text you highlighted, or the image you right-clicked. That
data goes into the composer, where you can edit or delete it before anything is
sent.

Your browsing history is never collected or enumerated.

WHAT WE DO NOT DO

We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties. We do not use it for any
purpose unrelated to composing and publishing the posts you write. We do not use
it for creditworthiness or lending decisions.

RETENTION AND DELETION

Posts you create are stored in your AdaptlyPost account and are deleted when you
delete them or close your account. You can revoke the extension's access at any
time by deleting its API token under Settings, API Tokens, which immediately
stops it from reading or writing anything.
