    Version 3.0.2

    Released Oct 11, 2026 - 6.74 MB
Works with firefox 140.0 and later, android 142.0 and later
AI Exporter saves your conversations with AI assistants as clean, complete files you can keep, print, share or edit. It works on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek and eleven other AI chat sites, right in your browser: free, with no limits, no sign-up and nothing uploaded.

Open a conversation, click the extension's icon (or press Alt+Shift+E), pick the messages you want and a format. That's it.

    WHAT YOU GET
    • The whole conversation, not just what's on screen. Long threads come out complete and in order, and if you edited a prompt or regenerated an answer, you get the version you're looking at.
    • Files that read well: code keeps its colors, math formulas are typeset, tables stay tables, and web sources become numbered, clickable references.
    • Your choice of format: PDF, Word, Markdown, Excel, a web page or one long image, plus plain text, CSV and JSON.
    • Optional extras: the model's reasoning, when each message was sent and which model wrote it, and the pictures from the chat.

    MANY CHATS AT ONCE
    • Pick several from your history, filter them by date and download them together in one ZIP file.
    • Later backups add only what is new or has changed, and an automatic backup can run on a schedule you choose.
    • Open the data export that ChatGPT or Claude emails you and turn the threads you want into documents, without sending the file anywhere.

    COPY, SHARE, MOVE ON
    • Copy everything with its formatting and paste it into Google Docs, Notion, an email or a notes app.
    • Carry a conversation over to another assistant, or get a ready-made citation (APA, MLA or Chicago) for school work.
    • Save straight to your own Notion page or GitHub repository, if you connect them.

    PRIVATE BY DESIGN
    • Files are created in your browser. There is no server of ours, and no account, analytics or ads.
    • The extension runs only on the supported sites and reads a chat only when you export, copy or save it, or when the automatic backup you turned on runs.
    • The source code is public on GitHub, where you can also see the full list of supported sites.

Documents support many writing systems, including right-to-left scripts, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. The interface is available in 13 languages.

Works with firefox 140.0 and later, android 142.0 and later
    v1.1.0

    New:
    - Added "Ask where to save each export" setting. When enabled (default), your browser's Save dialog opens on every export so you can choose a custom folder - Dropbox, OneDrive, or anywhere else.
    - Turn this off in Settings if you'd rather exports save silently to your default Downloads folder, like before.

This setting works the same way in both the Chrome and Firefox versions of the extension.
