About this extension
AliExpress no longer gives you a usable invoice. AliVAT fixes that for freelancers and small businesses that need to book their purchases.

WHAT IT DOES
• Adds a "Download invoice" button next to AliExpress' own buttons on every order page.
• Checkboxes on the orders overview: tick orders, export one ZIP of PDFs.
• Bulk export by date range from the toolbar popup, handy for a VAT quarter.
• Credit notes for refunded lines, with refund date and reason; partial refunds are marked.
• English, Dutch and German invoices.

WHAT IS ON THE INVOICE
Supplier (the AliExpress entity) and the store that sold the item, your billing details with VAT and Chamber of Commerce number, ship-to address, order reference and dates, payment method, every line with SKU, quantity, unit price and total, subtotal, shipping, coupons, customs duty where AliExpress charges it, total, VAT amount with rate, and net amount. Numbers match what AliExpress charged. Where AliExpress only says "VAT included", the VAT is calculated at your country's standard rate and labelled as such.

PRIVACY
Everything runs locally. AliVAT reads the same order data the AliExpress order page loads, with your own login, and generates the PDFs in your browser. No analytics, no server, nothing uploaded. Settings stay in Firefox's extension storage.

SUPPORT THE DEVELOPER
AliVAT is free. In the settings there is a "Support the developer" option (on by default): when you open your AliExpress cart or checkout, AliVAT applies the developer's referral cookie in the background so a small commission goes to development at no cost to you. It never changes anything on AliExpress pages and can be switched off.

NOTE
The PDF is a document you generate from your own order data, not an invoice issued by AliExpress; it says so on every page. Whether it satisfies your local bookkeeping rules is between you and your accountant. Not affiliated with AliExpress or Alibaba.
