About this extension

AltKit writes alt text for the images you post, so people who use screen readers know what they show. It reads the words in an image too: signs, screenshots, charts and captions.

Works in the alt text dialog on Bluesky, X, Mastodon, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and deer.social.

You can also right-click any image on a web page and choose "Create alt text with AltKit". The result appears on the page, or in the AltKit popup, with a Copy button.
