About this extension
Easily explore the complete franchise genealogy and release chronology of your favorite anime and manga on AniList!
On AniList, entries belonging to the same franchise (main seasons, sequels, prequels, spin-offs, alternative versions, recaps) are often scattered as flat cards in the "Relations" section, making overall timeline comprehension difficult.
AniList Relations Tree introduces an intuitive, left-to-right interactive tree diagram directly inside AniList media pages:
Key Features:
- Complete Franchise Connection Tree: Displays canonical chronology, spin-offs, movies, and ONAs connected by explicit relation edges (
- Sleek Dark Theme: Premium high-definition dark layout on a subtle dot-grid canvas, readable media cards, and an amber golden glow highlighting the currently viewed title.
- Fluid Pan & Zoom: Free canvas panning, smooth cursor-centered mouse wheel zoom, and auto-centering (Fit View).
- Customizable Controls & Filters:
- Recursion depth slider (explore 1 to 6 degrees of separation).
- Instant title language switching (English, Romaji, or Native Japanese).
- Media format filtering (All, Anime only, or Manga only).
- Instant search input with auto-focus on matching nodes.
- Multi-select dropdown to filter specific relation types (e.g. toggle spin-offs, adaptations, side stories).
- Seamless Single-Page Navigation: Works out-of-the-box across AniList's single-page app without requiring page reloads.
- Fast & Privacy-Conscious: Direct batched queries using AniList's official public GraphQL API with local session caching. No user tracking, no telemetry, no third-party servers.
