by thechocolateone, 8 years agoTried this on FF Quantum. The music would play fine when I load up the browser but after 10 seconds, it would stop and the icon in the toolbar would be completely greyed out. Clicking on it doesn't do anything, and neither does disabling, refreshing, or reinstalling. Overall, if this actually worked, it would be a 4/5 from me. It doesn't have as many options as other similar AC music add-ons I've used on Chrome (i.e. can switch between different game soundtracks, KK songs, etc).
Update: The add-on is now working the day after though I haven't changed any settings whatsoever. Probably just a strange glitch!

I've tested Animal Forest BGM on Firefox (Beta) 57 and am unable to reproduce this issue! My first thought is that this might have to do with the automatic media playback detection feature. Try disabling that feature and see if the issue persists. If it disappears, check to see if any of your tabs or other WebExtensions emit or are capable of emitting audio-- that might be the cause!
I'll attempt to reproduce your issue on Firefox (Stable) 57 and let you know if I am able to reproduce this issue. If you're running a version of Firefox other than 57, please let me know so that I can test it with the appropriate version!
Thank you for the feedback!
EDIT: I've made attempts to reproduce this bug on the stable version of Firefox 57, but with no success. Please try disabling the media playback detection feature-- if that works, please let me know!
EDIT 2: I'm glad to hear that the add-on is now working correctly. Thank you so much for updating your review!

- Rated 5 out of 5by orangebanana, 3 years agoAs a fan of Animal Crossing the bgm really makes the game come alive. So, it's nice just to hear the music. This is really sweet tied with a nice animated theme. <3

- Rated 3 out of 5by Director's Cut, 5 years agoOutdated. The chrome extension this is based off of has many more features, so I would encourage people to support that getting ported over.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Colin, 5 years agoUnobtrusive, no shady permissions, and customization is pretty straightforward. Why can't all extensions be this good? Plus, I mean...it's Animal Crossing. Doesn't get any better than that.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Altai H., 5 years agoLove it, works great and is totally unobtrusive! Wish it had music from more than just New Leaf though, and I thought it had an option for playing the rain/snow variants of songs but I can't seem to find that setting anymore.

But nonetheless, I'm loving this add on. I wish you could add music from different Animal Crossings like City Folk. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12193603, 6 years ago

This isn't available yet on chrome, and doesn't impact my review, but it'd be next-level if this extension could ask for a zip-code, compare that to weather conditions in the area, and then play the raining or snowing versions of the New Leaf music when those conditions exist in the zip code being checked. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14654256, 6 years ago
