Privacy policy for APIVoid Browser Protection
APIVoid Browser Protection by APIVoid
Our browser extensions (such as APIVoid Browser Protection) are designed with privacy as a core principle. All processing happens locally on your device — no browsing history, visited URLs, or personal data is ever transmitted to our servers or any third party. The extensions do not collect, store externally, or share any personally identifiable information. The extensions may periodically fetch plain text rule list files from our servers (such as at browser-extensions.apivoid.com) to keep blocking rules current. These requests are anonymous and contain no user-identifiable information. As with any standard web server, our server may temporarily log the requesting IP address for security, abuse prevention, and operational purposes. No cookies, tracking identifiers, or personal data are included in these requests, and IP logs are not used for any form of user profiling or tracking. All user settings, custom block lists, exclusions, and event logs are stored exclusively in your browser's local storage using the standard browser extension storage APIs. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us. You can clear this data at any time through the extension's built-in Reset feature or by uninstalling the extension. Our extensions do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking services. They do not inject ads, modify page content for commercial purposes, or monitor your browsing activity beyond what is strictly necessary to evaluate whether a URL should be blocked — a process that happens entirely on your device.
