This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install and use ‘Aquila X chrome extension’.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We do not use Google Analytics, or any other analytics tools to track usage of the App.

If Chrome sync is enabled, Google may sync some of the extension settings between your browser installations.

We do not collect any information when you use a local or on-premise server as the backend for this application.

When you use https://aquila.network as your backend service, we receive the following information from your application:

API key: We collect your API key to perform user authentication and security.
Web page content: When you take conscious action to index a web page you are currently on, we receive the HTML source code of that web page. This data is processed at our backend server to extract, process and store its content to serve only you.
Search query: When you take conscious action to search your previously stored index, we receive your search query. This data is processed at our backend server to extract previously stored content to serve only you. We do not keep your search history.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
Your Profile Information is used to provide basic services by the application. It may also be used to anonymously generate insights on improving the application.

We do not use the Profile Information outside of the App and backend server for any other purposes.

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We do not share your Personal Information with anyone.

YOUR RIGHTS
If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

DATA RETENTION
We do not collect or store any Profile Information outside the App and backend server.

CHANGES
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
