Arquivo Verificador is a browser extension that helps users evaluate basic security signals on SaaS websites.
Data collection
Arquivo Verificador does not collect, store, sell, or share personal data.
The extension does not:
require user accounts
use analytics or tracking SDKs
transmit scan results to the developer
upload browsing history to a remote server
How the extension works
Security checks are performed locally in the user's browser.
The extension may request the current page URL and make direct requests to the website being scanned in order to inspect public security signals such as headers or publicly exposed files.
Temporary processing
Scan results may be kept temporarily in extension memory for the current browser tab so the popup can display the latest result without re-running every check immediately.
This temporary data is not persisted to long-term storage by the extension.
Permissions
activeTab: used to act on the currently viewed page
tabs: used to identify the active tab and clear temporary results when a tab changes or closes
<all_urls>: used to check public endpoints and headers on the site the user chooses to scan
