Fixed: the “Ad blockers violate YouTube’s Terms of Service” wall that blocked playback.
Removed: the four “hide ads” toggles (ad slots and sponsored cards, ad panels beside the video, sponsored search results, the banner ad). Leave ads to a real ad blocker.
“Hide Premium and Music promotions” now also hides YouTube’s own promo banners on the home page.

New

Search results as a grid. Turn on “Show results as a grid” under Search results and your results appear as cards in rows, like the home page. Channels and Shorts rows still span the full width.
Keep playing through a playlist. If you use “Do not start videos by themselves”, you can now let a playlist play through: press play once and the next videos start on their own, which is handy for albums. Single videos still wait for you.

Improved

Buttons and switches respond the moment you press them.
In dark mode, the selected tab now looks raised.
Dialogs fade in smoothly.
The settings page’s top bar is see-through, so settings scroll under it instead of being cut off.
If your system is set to increase contrast, panel edges are now easier to see.

Fixed

In the popup, the unit next to a number (like “6 seconds”) no longer touches its box.
In Mindful Pause, the list of sites now lines up with the settings around it.
