- Rated 5 out of 5by Onurtag, 2 hours agoThanks for your ongoing updates. The addon is great!
Also please keep the vaporlens support. Its quite useful. - Rated 5 out of 5by IrisNebula, 8 hours agoThis is a fantastic add-on for anyone that uses Steam more than just to play a couple specific games and be done with it. All the features that help with Wishlist management, ITAD integration for showing your other libraries, price comparisons and review summaries are just indispensable for frequent Steam users. Thank you dev!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19653750, 9 hours agoI am staunchly anti-ai but the announcement was heavily appreciated and I think you're doing things right.
I checked the VarporLens summary features for store pages since it seems to be controversial, but since it's so hard to miss and has been announced, I can't say it's a bad feature when you can go turn it off if you dislike it. This combined with "I can say that I am not using and will not use AI or AI tools on either IsThereAnyDeal or Augmented Steam," has my continued trust and support. - Rated 5 out of 5by yeahthatsme, 18 hours agoCreated a Firefox account just to leave this review because of the backlash over VaporLens. If people don't like it, they can turn it off. The first time I saw it, I liked the info it presented and thought it was a useful addition. People trying to have an ideological objection to it aren't even looking at its integration, usefulness, or any tangible factor. They simply hear "AI" and lose all objectiveness. It's fine. Keep it in. You did your due diligence and I agree with your choices. Thanks for the incredibly useful free add-on.
- I usually don't rate addons, but since this one is getting review bombed (because of the integration of a website that does Steam review summaries with LLMs (Vaporlens)), I'm writing mine.
The extension is filled with amazing features I didn't knew I wanted, but ended up loving them. Even niche things like custom steam gift card amounts is nice.
The best thing: it's open source and doesn't want to track you. Check the features and source on their website augmentedsteam.com
It's extremely customizable as well. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19652394, a day ago
- I've had a consistently good experience with augmented steam over the years. It's a great addon for anyone that uses steam.
If the developer wants to add some ai summary tool and an option to turn it off. I have no issues whatsoever with that.
I don't particularly like ai stuff, but I sure love options.
Thanks for all the work you've done! - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 19651837, 2 days agoI enjoyed using it until I saw the popup about VaporLens. I don't think the benefits of VaporLens's review summaries outweigh the cons of using - and by extension normalizing - AI, so I'm uninstalling this addon. I'll reinstall it if VaporLens is removed.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19645181, 2 days agoIgnore the anti-AI whiners threatening to review bomb you, this is one of the best add-ons out there and I love seeing new features.
- Rated 5 out of 5by CarcosanStag, 2 days agoGreat extension that I've used for years, but I will uninstall and 1-star this if the AI shit (VaporLens) remains. Please remove.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19651728, 2 days agoI love the add-on as is but if the VaporLens thing stays, I'll change my rating to 1-star and remove the program. I want nothing to do with that kind of thing and I will not endorse it.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19651649, 2 days agoWonderful 5-star add-on, but I'm here to request that VaporLens be removed. The overall negatives of generative AI far outweigh the short-term benefits and are not worth the trade off.
- Rated 5 out of 5by AnotherUser3987, 2 days agoPlease don't pay any attention to the no doubt small number of vocal people who want to remove Vaporlens - they can choose not to use it, but don't let them impose their choices on those of us who like the feature and don't mind AI.
At worst make it opt-in, rather than opt-out.
Great extension of course - goes without saying. - Rated 1 out of 5by ShleepScedule, 2 days agoAdding good-for-nothing "features" that use AI is already bad, but even worse when opt-out instead of opt-in.
As someone who has used Augmented Steam (and Enhanced Steam) for a long while, I am frankly quite disgusted and will be keeping this disgrace to the original extension un-bloody-installed. Screw you. - Rated 5 out of 5by pitchhiked, 2 days agoJust to chime in on the VaporLens situation — I really hope it stays, because it made getting genuinely useful information about games so much easier. Thanks to it, I don’t have to dig past front-page reviews, which are often unserious or unhelpful when it comes to actually judging a game. It’s concise, accurate, and genuinely helpful, and I honestly couldn’t care less about what technology was used to achieve it.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Blueberr, 2 days agoХорошее расширение для Стима. Люди чёто говорят про недавнее обновление с настройками ИИ, но это же можно отключить... Кароче желаю разрабу терпения и не быть на поводу и деградировать как некоторые

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16999263, 7 days agoAdds some huge AI box in the reviews just like that and turns it on by default for no good reason. Dismisses it as not using AI but only using the data generated by one.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Rodolfo P. Jacinto II, 10 days agothey added vaporlens generative ai as an option and turned on by default. so sick of gen ai being implemented everywhere.

- Rated 4 out of 5by HyperLemon, 20 days agoas good as all the features are this stupid fucking extension completely jumbled up my wishlist with 0 warning about anything. (I had 700 games and the top 50 was basically in order, now this wishlist is useless)
EDIT: it has only jumbled a small part like the top 25 or so, thankfully the rest is fine
