However, the following URLs are registered and saved with the exclusion pattern, but at some point they are deleted and become blank.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Wirewox, 4 years agoAn excellent undertaking and seems to work well for many, many sites (eBay, Google worked well in my testing). Very responsive developer who helped me make the addon work for a specific site mitigates the fact that the documentation for adding custom sites is only available in Japanese. Many thanks!

posted 4 years agoI made a change to one of the ebay rules. See if it works for you. - Rated 5 out of 5by steve711, 4 years agoJohn, I've tried to make this much-needed extension work here (http://rlsbb.ru/) as well as Amazon.com, but with no success. Any help or advice most welcome.
Update: The extension's author responded immediately and fixed my attempt at creating a script for a specific site. Woo Hoo!

Is this the rule you created? If so, there are a few problems:
The pageElement portion is incorrect.
The nextLink portion also needs to be in XPath.
The conditions for the url need to match the example url. I find RegExp useful for this.
I have fixed the entry for you. Go to the addon Options section and hit the "Update Siteinfo" button. An alert should pop up in a few seconds that should tell you about the update. Then, visit your site.
Next time, try right clicking on a section or link and choosing "Inspect Element" to view the elements in HTML. That should give you some help with identifying the element names and attributes.
BTW, what Amazon page is causing problems for you? - Rated 5 out of 5by Taco, 4 years ago

Can this possibly be fixed?
But at least the whole article then becomes available in FF's Reader Mode :-) - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefoxlover, 5 years ago
