- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15375616, 5 years agoCauses flashes of unstyled content in loads and loads and loads of sites (and has done for ages), to the point that it is hard to fathom how this passed QA and how the bug hasn't been fixed yet.

posted 6 years agoHi,
thank you for your review. All extension settings are stored in permanent storage that survives browser closing, even PC restart. Do you have some 3rd party cleaning app, that would be deleting "unnecessary" files. Or maybe some company policy is set? - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15297443, 6 years agoInstalled without my consent after using Avast Software Updater to update my Firefox (along with 1 additional extension).
Developer response
posted 6 years agoHi,
thank you for review. This situation was most likely caused by scenario, where you had this extension already installed but disabled. There was a situation on mozilla side
https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2019/05/04/update-regarding-add-ons-in-firefox/
And most likely the Avast Software Updater updated firefox and due to this it brought fix for extensions and they got re-activated. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15288011, 6 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15260810, 6 years agoEDIT: Thanks to the Avast team for response, I had removed the add-on from toolbar and was looking for settings in... settings. Found the correct settings tab now as per below, and disabled search rating score. Also note that the app does NOT block tracking etc cookies by default, you need to turn this on, which is a bit weird but hey. Still, very nice.

posted 6 years agoHi,
thank you for your review. If you wish your search results to be without "rating score" badge, then open extension UI by clicking its icon in address bar, navigate yourself to the settings in right top corner and uncheck "Mark my serch results" - next time you search something badges will be gone. - Rated 5 out of 5by Gerald Waurisch, 6 years ago
