About this extension
You opened your browser to check one quick thing. Three YouTube videos and a Reddit rabbit hole later, you can't even remember what it was. Sound familiar?
Back to Work is the gentle nudge you didn't know you needed. It doesn't lock you out of websites or treat you like a child. Instead, when you visit a site on your blocklist, it simply asks: "Are you sure you want to be distracted from your work?" Then it makes you wait 5 whole seconds before you can click through. Turns out, 5 seconds is all it takes to remember you were supposed to be writing that report.
What it does:
You tell it which websites are your kryptonite (youtube.com, reddit.com, we don't judge)
When you try to visit one, it intercepts with an "Are you sure?" page
You get two options: "Go back to work" or "I'm sure" (available after a 5-second cooldown)
Subdomains are included automatically — no sneaking through m.youtube.com
Sometimes you actually need a break:
Hit pause for 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, or until tomorrow morning. We get it — sometimes that YouTube video really is a work tutorial. Resume blocking anytime with one click.
