betterinsta does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

• The extension runs only on https://www.instagram.com/*.
• It makes no network requests of its own. The only navigation it performs is sending your current tab to Instagram's own search page for the query you typed.
• It does not read your account, messages, feed or search results.
• It stores one value, whether the search box is open or closed, in the page's sessionStorage. This stays in your browser and is cleared when the tab closes.
• There is no analytics, telemetry, advertising or third-party code.

Instagram's own privacy policy applies to what you do on instagram.com.
